A Three Module Online Introductory Certificate Course
The 2024/2025 CPA Foundation course is being offered in a modified format. Due to ongoing health concerns, the usual format of the course with weekly live sessions with John throughout the three terms is not currently possible. The decision was made to use pre-recorded material from recent years.
The course will be released in 3 modules, corresponding to the usual terms. Whilst the commencement dates for each module are fixed, the completion date can be more flexible. You can take any or all of these, i.e. you can just enroll in terms 2 and 3, or term 3 only if you feel you just want to brush up on those terms’ topics. If you complete all 3 terms you will be eligible to receive the CPA’s Certificate of Completion.
While this is different to the usual format of the course, it means that this year it is possible to self-pace your studies. Class recordings are available to stream 24/7 but are not downloadable. The recorded classes will be supported by a learning environment and materials in the online learning portal (Moodle) and will include discussion forums, quizzes, and two assignments, one at the end of Module 1 and one at the end of Module 2. You will be given feedback on these assignments. We encourage you to use the forums for any questions after watching the videos, with discussion from both tutors and students, and you can also email the tutors. We also strongly recommend that students engage with the CPA Foundation course reading list in order to deepen and support their understanding of the course topics.
This creates a great opportunity for anyone wanting to either embark on their journey and discover psychological astrology, or to deepen their astrological knowledge, synthesis and chart work skills while revisiting the basics of psychological astrology. This would be an ideal primer for anyone wanting to go on to study the MISPA Diploma in Psychological Astrology in 2025/2026 or a similar course.

In module 3 half of the time is spent on synthesizing chart examples.
Cost: £285 per module.
Numbers are strictly limited on a first come, first served basis. After booking you will be enrolled in the course about a week or so later. If you complete all 3 terms you will be eligible to receive the CPA’s Certificate of Completion. The suggested time to complete a module is 2-3 months but you have up to 5 months to complete each module.
