Mercury and the Outer Planets

Mercury gets around. From the heights of Mount Olympus to the depths of the Underworld - and everywhere in between - the messenger of the gods crosses and criss-crosses our minds, and weaves his way through the thickets of our hearts carrying thoughts and intuitions - his messages - far and wide. In astrology, when Mercury aspects the outer planets Uranus, Neptune, or Pluto, his messages take on particular tones, characters, colours, and flavours, true to the nature of the gods with whom he visits in the sky (Uranus), the oceans and waters (Neptune), and the dark depths (Pluto) - yet all originating in the psyche, the soul. Given Jung's premise that "Psyche is image," how can we understand Mercury's connections with the outer planets via the images these combinations bring forth? This webinar explores the nature of these images through the natal charts of people, stories, songs, movies, and events 'born' with Mercury aspecting the outer planets.
